Gauhati High Court has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 12 posts of Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online.

Details of the Recruitment:

  • Name of Post: Assam Judicial Service Grade I
  • No. of Posts: 12 posts
  • Pay: Rs. 1,44,840 - 1,94,660/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must hold a Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate’s age must be between 35 to 45 years as of 17th November 2024.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC: 3 years
    • STP/ STH: 3 years
  • Experience: Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction for a period of not less than 7 years as of the application date.

Application Fee:

  • SC/ ST: Rs. 500/-
  • PWD: Nil
  • Others: Rs. 1000/-
