About HSLC Rechecking 2025
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I, has announced the HSLC Result 2025. If you’re not happy with your marks, you can apply for rechecking of your answer scripts. Applications start on 13th April 2025 through the official ASSEB website (sebaonline.org).

What Does Rechecking Mean?
Rechecking does not mean re-evaluating your answers. It includes:
- A. Re-totaling of marks given by the examiner
- B. Checking if any answer was left unevaluated
- C. Fixing any wrong entry of marks
- D. Result Update: You’ll be informed within 30 days via SMS and email
- E. Scanned Copy: Available via email for applied candidates
- F. Revised Marks Sheet: If marks change, submit your original marks sheet/certificates through your school to get a new one

How to Apply for Rechecking?
Follow these steps to apply online:
- A. Visit the SEBA Rechecking Portal
- B. Click the link: “Apply For Re-checking Or Photocopy With Re-checking Of Answer Scripts”
- C. Enter your Roll Number and No. of HSLC Exam 2025
- D. Choose your service: Rechecking only or Photocopy with Rechecking
- E. Select the subjects you want to recheck
- F. Upload a scanned copy of your Original Admit Card (.jpeg/.png, max 500KB)
- G. Enter your contact details
- H. Double-check all information (wrong details may cancel your application)
- I. Click “Confirm and Pay Online”
- J. Complete payment details and click “Pay Now”
- K. After payment, get your ARN (Application Receipt Number) via SMS
- L. Download your payment invoice and keep it safe
- M. Use your ARN to check your application status later
