AIIMS Guwahati has announced a recruitment for 11 faculty positions. These include Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor roles across various departments. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online.
Positions Available:
1. Additional Professor
No of posts: 2
Qualifications:
- A medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule).
- Postgraduate qualification like MD/MS or an equivalent degree in the relevant field.
Experience:
- Ten years teaching or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining MD/MS or an equivalent degree.
- For super specialty disciplines, eight years of experience with D.M./M.Ch. or seven years with a 3-year recognized degree.
2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 3
Qualifications:
- A medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule).
- Postgraduate qualification like MD/MS or an equivalent degree in the relevant field.
Experience:
- Six years teaching or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining MD/MS or an equivalent degree.
- For super specialty disciplines, four years of experience with D.M./M.Ch. or three years with a 3-year recognized degree.
3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 6
Qualifications:
- A medical qualification listed in the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule).
- Postgraduate qualification like MD/MS or an equivalent degree in the relevant field.
Experience:
- Three years teaching or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining MD/MS or an equivalent degree.
- For super specialty disciplines, one year of experience with D.M./M.Ch. or no experience required for a 3-year recognized degree.
Age Limits:
- Professor/Additional Professor: Up to 58 years
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Up to 50 years
