Who Can Apply?
You need to meet these conditions:
- A. Age Limit:
- JRF: Below 30 years as on 1st June 2025. 5-year relaxation for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender, and women.
- Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
- Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
- B. Education Needed:
- Master’s Degree: 55% marks for General/EWS (50% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender) in subjects like Humanities, Social Sciences, Computer Science, etc. (check full list in official notification).
- Final-Year Master’s Students: You can apply if your results are pending.
- 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree: Need 75% marks. Eligible for JRF or Ph.D. admission, but not for Assistant Professor.
- Final-Year 4-Year Bachelor’s Students: Can apply but must meet Ph.D. rules within 1-2 years after results.
- 4-Year Bachelor’s Holders: Can choose any Ph.D. subject, regardless of their degree discipline.

Pay the fee based on your category:
- A. General: Rs. 1150/-
- B. EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 600/-
- C. SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs. 325/-
