About GATE
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All-India exam conducted by the GATE Committee, which includes faculty members from IISc Bangalore and IITs on behalf of the Ministry of Education (MoE).
Qualifying GATE is mandatory for admissions to Master’s/Doctoral programs in various institutions and for financial assistance. Many PSUs also use GATE scores for recruitment.
