Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force Recruitment

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced 51 vacancies for Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) and Constable (Motor Mechanic). These posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.

  • Pay Scale: Level - 4, Rs. 25,500 - 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as of 22nd January 2025.
  • Educational Qualification:
    1. 10+2 pass from a recognized board.
    2. Certificate in Motor Mechanic with 3 years of practical experience OR Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

2. Constable (Motor Mechanic)

  • No. of Posts: 44
  • Pay Scale: Level - 3, Rs. 21,700 - 69,100 (as per 7th CPC).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as of 22nd January 2025.
  • Educational Qualification:
    1. Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized board.
    2. Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in the relevant trade OR 3 years of experience in the relevant trade.

Age Relaxation

Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (OBC-NCL): 6 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years

  • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: No Fee
