Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 15 Assistant Sanitary Inspector posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply for these positions.

Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- per month
Engagement Period: The position is on a contractual basis for 11 months. The contract may be extended based on the performance and needs of GMC.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be a native citizen of Assam.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1st January 2024.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate with Chemistry or Biology as one of the subjects in Intermediate/ Class 10+2 level/ Higher Secondary. OR
- Intermediate/ Class 10+2 with Chemistry or Biology and a Diploma in Sanitary Inspector/Public Health/Solid Waste Management from a recognized institute.
Preference: Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in fields related to Environmental Science, Public Health, Sanitation, or Solid Waste Management.

- Bring original documents/certificates for verification during the interview, failing which you may not be allowed to appear.
