- Experience: 15 years of experience in educational administration or comparable experience in a research establishment.
- Age Limit: Minimum 45 years as of the last application date; retirement age is 60.
2. Superintending Engineer, Gauhati University
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + GP Rs. 16,900/- + allowances
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 10 years in a recognized institution, experience in building design, planning, and supervision preferred.
- Age Limit: 45 to 55 years.
3. Assistant University Engineer (Electrical), Gauhati University

- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + GP Rs. 13,900/- + allowances
- Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate.
- Experience: 5 years in electrical maintenance (HVAC, transformers, etc.) preferred.
- Age Limit: 21 to 38 years; SC/ST candidates get a 5-year age relaxation.
4. Chief Medical Officer, G.U. Hospital
- Number of Posts: 1
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + GP Rs. 16,900/- + allowances
- Educational Qualification: MBBS from a recognized university.
- Experience: 15 years in a hospital or health center.
- Age Limit: 40 to 55 years.
