JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan programs at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Additionally, it serves as an eligibility test for the JEE Advanced, required for IIT admissions.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
No age limit for JEE (Main)-2025. Candidates who have passed Class 12/equivalent in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025 are eligible.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have passed Class 12/equivalent in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025 can apply. Those who passed in 2022 or before are not eligible.
State of Eligibility:
The state code depends on the location of the Class 12 qualifying institution, not the candidate's native place.
