Number of Posts: 17
Age Limit: 18 to 36 years as of 1st January 2025.
Pay: Pay Level-7, starting at Rs. 44,900 plus allowances.
2. Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant
Number of Posts: 7934
Age Limit: 18 to 36 years as of 1st January 2025.
Pay: Pay Level-6, starting at Rs. 35,400 plus allowances.

- Chemical Supervisor/ Research: Degree in Chemical Technology.
- Metallurgical Supervisor/ Research: Degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
- Junior Engineer Electrical: Three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Junior Engineer Civil: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
- Junior Engineer/ Track Machine: Three years Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
- Junior Engineer Mechanical: Three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering.
- Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry.
- Junior Engineer/ Diesel Electrical: Three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Junior Engineer/ S and T/ Telecommunication: Three years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication/Computer Science Engineering.
- Depot Material Superintendent: Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any discipline.
