The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of 04 GIS Assistant, Training Coordinator, and Research Scholar posts. These positions are on a contractual basis under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

1. Training Coordinator
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, human resource, business administration).
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Place of Work: Centre of Excellence on Land Governance (COELG), O/o the Principal, Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Rajahnagar, Dakhingaon, Guwahati, Kamrup (Metro), Assam- 781040.
Age Limit: Above 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 01-Aug-2024. Age relaxation as per Government policy.

2. GIS Assistant
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration: Not exceeding Rs. 30,000/- per month (based on qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Geography/Geology or related field with Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-informatics. Alternatively, B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc. in GIS & Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics; or M.A/M.Sc. in Geography/Geology/Environmental Science with Geo-informatics as a core subject or Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.

3. Research Scholar (Legal Matters)

Remuneration: Not exceeding Rs. 70,000/- per month (based on qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Law (including an Integrated Law Degree under 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized institution. Candidates with LLM will be preferred.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: PhD (pursuing) in Geo-informatics with a post-graduate degree in GIS & Remote Sensing. B.Tech (IT/Computer Science) or MCA from a recognized university is desirable.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
